Commercial Operations Manager - Leading Testing Services Organisation - Aberdeen

CLIENT is one of the most respected testing services companies in the world. The Aberdeen Laboratory provides routine mechanical testing and related services to local petro-chemical, oil & gas, foundry, forging and civil engineering clients, amongst others.

ROLE – Commercial Operations Manager, reporting to the General Manager (based remotely), will take overall responsibility for the operations and growth of the Aberdeen laboratory. In particular, responsibilities include:

-Drive growth based on sales and service: conceive and realise strategic change to improve business performance in existing and new market sectors within challenging corporate targets

-Drive commercial activities to ensure successful business development and customer focus.

-Provide dynamic hands-on leadership to team to ensure a consistent application of standards, values, and improvement tools
-Delivery of technical competence, quality, health & safety, staff development and exceptional customer service
-Ownership of the P&L for the Aberdeen laboratory
