Engage your highly developed knowledge of engineering materials to help meet our defense goals for the 21st century. In this occupation you may supervise, lead, or perform duties involved with the research, development, testing, and evaluation of new or improved engineering materials that are designed to operate in the current and future high stress operations environments. Your duties may involve one or more aspects of the development cycle or in-service evaluation, inspection, and standards development.
